The Board of Directors has approved proposed amendments to the Bylaws to (a) ratify the addition of two new classes of eligible Members: (i) women lawyers’ affinity groups (as voting members) and (ii) women law student organizations (as non-voting members); (b) update the membership and procedures of the NCWBA Nominations Committee; and (c) ensure compliance with nonprofit corporations law and current practice.

Member organizations with representatives at the Women’s Bar Leadership Summit on August 5, 2022 will vote in person on the proposed amendments. Click here to see if you belong to a member organization. If your member organization cannot be represented in person and you wish to register your organization’s vote, you may vote by proxy. Completed proxies must be received no later than 5:00 pm ET, Monday, August 1.
